Get ready for the ‘Blowing Rock Thursday Market’ starting May 14
It’s a new name and a new location for the gathering formerly known as the Blowing Rock Farmers Market.
This year, the market will be held on Thursdays at the Blowing Rock Chamber at 132 Park Road, off Main Street, instead of at Antiques on Sunset near U.S. 321.
And it will now be known as “Blowing Rock Thursday Market.”
As you probably have figured, the market will be held on Thursdays. It runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. from May 14 to Sept. 24, rain or shine.
Vendors will include:
Summer Fresh Flower Farms
Mystic Pasta
J&M Produce
Evenlight Eagles – Primavera Leather
Potter Neighbor
CeCe’s Baked Goods
According to a special event permit request considered by town commissioners at a special meeting on Monday, the market will have 10-12 vendors and attract between 50 and 100 visitors. All vendors will be on the Chamber of Commerce property and will not block the street, the application permit says.
